Provides leadership and management for the Housing Operations department and manages the following teams: Housing Occupancy and Assignments, Facilities, Conference Services, Budget and Finance, Residential Technology, and Resident Service Centers. Most commonly interacts with Campus Services, Facilities Management, Finance and Business Operations, Planning Design and Construction, and the Campus Life Executive Leadership Team. 

Facilitates major questions regarding housing, housing selection, and any housing concerns. Directs Conference Services programs within Emory Housing including working with clients to provide logistical support and services for summer programs, providing a one department point of contact for clients as it relates to campus partners.

Leads the facilities and operations team in establishing a healthy and safe environment within the student housing program. Works closely with Assistant Directors to address questions and concerns students encounter within and surrounding the residence halls, houses, and lodges on the Atlanta and Clairmont campuses. Regularly coordinates and collaborates with campus partners (Campus Services and Planning, Design, and Construction most frequently) to identify and schedule renovation, repair, and cleaning needs in and around the residential facilities. 

Leads the housing occupancy and assignments team in assigning spaces for all first-and-second-year residents and third-and-fourth-year residents on the Clairmont Campus. Laird will partner with other Campus Life offices and other university organizations to provide project-and-systems-driven leadership to advance Housing Operation's strategic focus.

Provides administrative support for Housing Operations. Maintains calendars and prioritizes meeting requests for management. Schedules and handles logistics for meetings and special events. Establishes and organizes filing systems. Oversees ordering and maintenance of office supplies.

Manages the housing application and selection process, intake for approved ESAs, and consultations of room change. Facilitates major questions regarding housing and housing selection. Most commonly interacts with OUE, DAS, ResLife, and study abroad programs. 

Fisher's primary responsibilities are to coordinate conference programs, including managing billing and supervising conference managers, assistants, and student interns. Will work closely with Campus Services, the Emory Student Center and Parking and Transportation. 

Manages questions or concerns relating to residential inspections, furniture, and maintenance/custodial needs (such as work order follow-ups and repair scheduling) within the Clairmont Campus (Clairmont Tower, URC, and CRC). Works closely with Campus Services, Facilities Maintenance, Custodial Services, Planning Design and Construction, and Residence Life. 

Manages in-person, phone, and email queries related to housing operations on the Clairmont Campus. Manages Clairmont Campus keys including lockouts, temporary loans, lock changes, and lock malfunctions. Directs students and parents to appropriate staff within Housing Operations and Residence Life. Most commonly interacts with Residence Life, maintenance, and Lock Shop.  

Supervises: Housing Operations Student Desk Staff 

Is responsible for supporting staff in the Housing Operations department in the areas of budget and finance, housing assignments and occupancy, conference services and housing administration, and facilities and operations, for a 4,700-bed residential community.

Responsibilities include reviewing department accounts, student billing audits, analyzing spending, tracking expenses, processing purchase requests, and payment requests, and reviewing outstanding work orders.

Manages in-person, phone, and email queries related to housing operations on the Atlanta (Main) Campus. Manages Atlanta Campus keys including lockouts, temporary loans, lock changes, and lock malfunctions. Directs students and parents to appropriate staff within housing operations and Residence Life. Most commonly interacts with Residence Life, maintenance, and Lock Shop.
