Reserving a Guest Apartment
Departmental
Reservations made with a University department requires a housing sponsor form to be completed through our online registration by the sponsoring department for each guest prior to making a reservation. The university sponsor is a person or department that is responsible for the guest. Sponsors validate the reasons for the stay and are responsible for payment and/or any outstanding debt the guest may have after the visit.
Reservations are made on a first-come, first-serve basis and apartments cannot be put on hold without a completed sponsor form. Reservation will not be confirmed until the form is submitted. If you confirm a reservation and then cancel (after 14 days), or if the guest does not move in, the sponsoring department will be charged a $300 cancellation fee.
Individual
Reservations are made on a first-come, first-serve basis and apartments cannot be put on hold without a verified offer letter from an Emory college or department. Once we receive a copy of your offer letter and verify with the college or department, we will send you a registration link. Reservation will not be confirmed until the offer letter is received and verified. If you confirm a reservation and then cancel (after 14 days) or do not move in, the guest will be charged a $300 cancellation fee.
Payment for Guest Housing
Guest housing rent may be paid either through departmental transfer, payroll deduction, or credit card (plus 3%). Please note that the sponsor form must also be signed by the guest if the payroll deduction option is selected.
