Woodruff Residential Center residents enjoy spacious rooms with high ceilings, excellent amenities, convenient parking, easy access to Lullwater Park, and a bathroom (shared only with the adjacent suite). Double rooms and a limited number of single rooms are available. Each room is air-conditioned and equipped with movable furniture.

Dominique DaCosta

Dominique, a native from the Bronx, NY, is an advocate for wellness and community healing. DaCosta graduated with a BS in Public Health from Delaware State University where she was a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. She is deeply committed to fostering community well-being which has led her to becoming a certified yoga instructor. For over a decade she has immersed herself in the practice of meditation.
Through her work with Mercy University's Manhattan campus, Dominique found joy in working with students and residents as a Residential Coordinator. Dedicated to the community's healing journey, Dominique channels her expertise into her leadership and mentorship, emphasizing the importance of mental health awareness within higher education.
After graduating with a MS in Organizational Leadership, Dominique relocated to Atlanta, GA to continue working in higher education at Emory University, supervising the Woodruff and Clifton Tower staff.

Manages questions or concerns relating to residential inspections, furniture, and maintenance/custodial needs (such as work order follow-ups and repair scheduling) within all residential halls and theme houses across the Atlanta Campus. Works closely with Campus Services, Facilities Maintenance, Custodial Services, Planning Design and Construction, and Residence Life.

Manages in-person, phone, and email queries related to housing operations on the Atlanta (Main) Campus. Manages Atlanta Campus keys including lockouts, temporary loans, lock changes, and lock malfunctions. Directs students and parents to appropriate staff within housing operations and Residence Life. Most commonly interacts with Residence Life, maintenance, and Lock Shop.
