Dates:

Students Residing on the Atlanta Campus (including Peavine and Eagle Row Houses/Lodges) During Both the Fall and Spring Semesters: Thursday, December 14th, 12:00 pm (Noon)

Students Residing on the Clairmont Campus During Both the Fall and Spring Semesters: Clairmont Campus does not close during winter break. Students residing on Clairmont Campus for both the Fall and Spring semesters do not have to leave campus during the winter break.

Students Not Residing on Campus During the Spring semester (graduation, study abroad, LOA, etc.): Thursday, December 14th, 12:00 pm (Noon)

SO HOW DOES IT WORK?

IF YOU ARE RETURNING FOR SPRING 2024 (ATLANTA CAMPUS)

Pack all belongings needed for winter break. After halls close for the break, students will lose access to their building until Spring Move-In. Items not needed for winter break can be kept in the room.

IF YOU ARE RETURNING FOR SPRING 2024 (CLAIRMONT CAMPUS)

Clairmont Campus does not close during winter break. Students residing on Clairmont Campus for both the Fall and Spring semesters do not have to leave campus during the winter break.

IF YOU ARE NOT RETURNING FOR SPRING 2024

COMPLETELY fill out an Express Check-Out envelope and read all the information on the back.
Pack and remove all your belongings from the room. A limited number of moving carts/bins are available in each area during the move-out period. Students are not permitted to store any belongings in the residence hall after spring move-out. Any personal items left behind will be considered abandoned property and are subject to immediate disposal and potential charges.
Once you have finished removing all items and are ready to go, lock your door, and place your keys inside the Express Check-Out envelope and seal it.
Turn in the sealed envelope to the designated Express Check-Out drop-off location for your building.
RAs will be checking apartments after residents have departed. All damage billing amounts may be appealed, however, improper checkout fees (i.e. keys not returned, items left behind, or checking out after the deadline) cannot be appealed.
