Clairmont Tower
The Tower Apartments are located in an eighteen-story apartment building on Clairmont Campus, less than one mile from the center of Emory's main campus. Each apartment is air conditioned and equipped with a living space, a full kitchen and full bathrooms. Most one-bedroom apartments include a balcony; all two- and three-bedroom units have a balcony.
Clairmont Amenities
Clairmont Campus amenities include the Clairmont Tower Penthouse, Clocktower Commons located in the URC, and The H Space located in the CRC. These spaces are frequently used as study spaces and for programmatic events. For more information on recreational amenities please visit the Student Activity and Academic Center website.

Manages questions or concerns relating to residential inspections, furniture, and maintenance/custodial needs (such as work order follow-ups and repair scheduling) within the Clairmont Campus (Clairmont Tower, URC, and CRC). Works closely with Campus Services, Facilities Maintenance, Custodial Services, Planning Design and Construction, and Residence Life.
Scott Hackett
Complex Director - Clairmont Tower

Scott Hackett serves as the Complex Director of the Clairmont Tower. In his collateral position, Scott oversees the various assessment projects for Residential Education within the department.
Prior to arriving at Emory in 2017, Scott served as an Assistant Residence Hall Director, while obtaining his Masters of Education in Higher Education and Student Affairs from Kent State University. He holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Political Science from Towson University. Professionally Scott is a member of the NASPA – Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education and ACPA – the American College Personnel Association.
In addition, Scott enjoys listening to music and podcasts, photography, and traveling.
Sparkle Merritt
Housing Operations Assistant

Manages in-person, phone, and email queries related to housing operations on the Clairmont Campus. Manages Clairmont Campus keys including lockouts, temporary loans, lock changes, and lock malfunctions. Directs students and parents to appropriate staff within Housing Operations and Residence Life. Most commonly interacts with Residence Life, maintenance, and Lock Shop.
Supervises: Housing Operations Student Desk Staff
